successes in Indian market growing fast!

February 2006: The management of Q.I. Press Controls India has
proudly announced that it is making very fast progress in winning
over the Indian printers' market to the high-tech systems in Q.I.
Press Controls' IRS programme. Vijay Pandya, Managing Director
of Q.I. Press Controls India said: ‘In India, there is great
demand for auxiliary equipments for fitting on new and existing
web-offset presses to improve the productivity and quality of
the printed matter. Q.I. Press Controls can deliver exactly what
Indian web-offset printers are looking for: easy-to-operate, proven
equipment with State of Art technology to match every printing
press configuration and every printer’s requirements. An
added benefit is the excellent cooperation between Q.I. Press
Controls and the various press manufacturers, which is very important
for the customer/user working with IRS colour register systems.

In the latter half of 2005, Q.I. Press Controls India launched some
important projects in Indian newspaper printing companies. Several
Manugraph and TPH web-offset presses will be fitted out with Q.I.
Press Controls' IRS. Some telling examples: •
Dainik Bhaskar Group in Ahmedabad is having its new Manugraph
Hiline newspaper presses equipped with six IRS systems for automatic
colour register control on full-colour webs • Dainik
Bhaskar Group in Baroda is having a new Orient Excel Press
equipped with two IRS systems for automatic colour register control
for full colour webs
• Jagran Prakashan Ltd has placed an order for
the installation of twenty two IRS systems for automatic colour
register control on full-colour web printing on its TPH Orient
36000 presses at various print locations
• The Indian Express in Mumbai has similar TPH
Orient web-offset presses ordered equipping with thirty two IRS
systems for automatic colour register control for full-colour
web printing at various locations
Q.I.
Press Controls will be exhibiting a large stand, number D23 in
Hall 4 at the IPEX in Birmingham from 4 11 April 2006.
Extensive demonstrations of the complete product line are organised
there: IDS, IRS and IQM - a complete printing press automation
programme which leads the field for ‘lights out printing’
in the future. Vijay Pandya is looking forward to demonstrating
the Q.I. Press Controls products to lots of interested fellow
countrymen!
