Q.I. Press Controls sets up new marketing office in Germany

PRESS RELEASE

The Dutch company Q.I. Press Controls has now set up shop in the German-speaking area, with its own establishment., Arslan Miftachoglu has been the Managing Director of the new Munich establishment since 1.1.2001 and shall be responsible for the sale of automatic register control systems to the graphics industry in Europe. Q.I. Press Controls (Q.I. stands for Quality and Intelligence), a dynamically growing company, was set up in 1996 in Oosterhout in The Netherlands. The system manufacturer earned international attention when it came up with the smallest register marks within the patented Intelligent Register Systems (Intelligent Register System). The primary target market for the versatile Intelligent Register System is the newspaper offset printing sector, apart from the jobbing roll offset and the continuous printing sectors.

Arslan Miftachoglu will be bringing to bear a wide range of sector-specific experiences in his new job. Before occupying various positions in a renowned German printing machinery manufacturing company, this Munich-born executive had completed his Engineering in Printing Technology and Business Management studies. Later on, he accepted further challenges as a member of the Board of Directors of BASF Drucksysteme GmbH, and as the head of Sales in VITS-Maschinenbau GmbH. Under his stewardship, the young German Q.I. Press Control team will be offering clients and interested parties fast, competent service in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The Register Control System of Q.I. Press Controls has register marks as fine as 0.2 x 0.2 mm. The core of the Intelligent Register System is a camera in which data analysis and processing takes place. Improvement in quality within a transparent production process is only one of the many advantages offered by this maintenance-free waste sheet eliminator. All web-fed rotary presses can be easily retrofitted with the Intelligent Register System, and an average newspaper printing press can recover its investment cost for example, within the course of a year.
