A degree of change for Q.I. Press Controls as Ferrostaal becomes exclusive sales agent for Australasia

Oosterhout, April 2010  - James Haisman, the current Managing Director of Q.I. Press Controls Australasia, will be leaving the company at the end of May and returning to full time studies. As a consequence and as part of a review of global sales strategy, Q.I. Press Controls announces the appointment, with immediate effect, of Ferrostaal Australia Pty Ltd as its exclusive sales agent for Australia and New Zealand.

Menno Jansen Chairman of Q.I. Press Controls states: “Q.I. Press Controls is delighted that Ferrostaal has agreed to represent us throughout Australia & New Zealand. Q.I. prides itself on excellent customer service and Ferrostaal – with their seven regional Australasian offices, complete range of agencies including consumables, pre-press, press and post-press equipment, together with dedicated, knowledgeable sales staff – will offer our customers an improved, comprehensive, level of local sales support.”

Hoping to swop a hard-hat for a wig James Haisman will however remain as a part-time consultant assisting the Ferrostaal sales team. “I welcome the opportunity to support Ferrostaal and continue my association, albeit in a reduced capacity, with the local printing industry. I look forward to ensuring a smooth and successful transition for our customers and to maintaining the many friendships formed within the industry”, he comments.

Technical service and support will continue to be offered via Q.I. Press Controls dedicated local Australasian service team based in Melbourne.
