ORDER AT IPEX FOR Q.I. PRESS CONTROLS

Oosterhout, maggio 2010 - Both Ipex and the UK heatset market are now even more interesting for Q.I. Press Controls with the order from Ancient House to equip their Komori system 38 presses with closed loop markless colour control in addition to the mRC register control and IQM management system. Replacing a competitive system on their existing press demonstrates Ancient House’s drive towards long term technology benefits as opposed to short term commercial concerns.

The markless colour control system is the same technology that News International invested in at their Broxbourne site and adds to the hundreds of systems already installed. Mr Menno Jansen, Chairman of Q.I. Press Controls commented “This represents a significant breakthrough in the UK heatset market. Having dominated the newspaper sector for years, we look forward to continued success with our new and existing partners in the UK.”

Michael Underdown, MD of Ancient House, added “This investment demonstrates our commitment to our customer base that we will continue to invest in the latest technology, to ensure we provide them with the highest level of quality whilst we benefit from reduced waste and increased efficiency. This was a decision that was not taken lightly after an in depth analysis of all the systems on the market. In the end it was clear that Q.I. Press Controls not only has the latest proven technology, but also represented a significantly more substantial ROI proposition.”
