Indonesian newspaper printmarket unfolded for Q.I. Press Controls' automation

Oosterhout, December 2010 A remarkable step forward for Q.I. Press Controls in Indonesian newspaper printing; this in close cooperation with the American press manufacturer Global Web Systems! Qualified full-colour newspaper communication is making progress in Indonesia, specifically in major cities like Jakarta.

PT Temprint Jakarta ordered Q.I. Press Controls’ mRC+ colour register and ribbon cut-off control for its new Global Web three-webs single width 4-high hybrid pressline. PT Temprint was undoubtedly convinced about mRC+’s immediate register accuracy after press start-up. Next to that Q.I. Press Controls’ ABD (Air Bustle Device) system will control the fan-out register to a high quality level.

Jakarta’s new printing operation at PT Temprint means a very honourable order for both Global Web and Q.I. Press Controls. Mr. Jaco Bleijenberg, Director of International Sales & Marketing of Q.I. Press Controls, expressed his confidence in the new installation for PT Temprint: “This hybrid pressline will become a landmark in the Indonesian publishing industry, due to its high level of automation, quick start-up, minimal paper waste and high print quality. Our service-teams are prepared to make PT Temprint very successful”.

PT Temprint’s three-webs hybrid pressline will produce full colour newspapers and semi-commercial jobs for Jakarta’s region. One web will be able to run heatset e.g. for glossy papers. The threefold mRC+ system was selected after several reference-visits, made by PT Temprint-staff to mRC+ users.
